“There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children. One of these is roots, the other, wings.”
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Avalon International School is a great example and valuable contribution to the long list of this region’s educational institutions. I hope – as a member of management with my previous experience as a manager and director of board – I can help in the development and the high quality level of operation of the school.
I truly believe that the best we – as educators – can provide for this and future generations is to create an environment and school ethos in which children can feel secure, happy and engaged for learning; therefore, they can become open-minded, respectful, digitally literate, happy and successful international citizens. My every day aim is to offer all that and the best learning opportunities for our AIS students.
Day by day I fulfil the financial and bookkeeping tasks of the school where the best and the most modern infrastructure and work environment is provided. For me it is very important to work for a well-respected international school. As a member of the management team I do all my best for the AIS to be able to achieve its short and long-term plans.
I am a multilingual international educator with more than twenty-two years of experience. I have taught in a wide range of schools in America, Asia and Europe. I facilitate a student-centred classroom where students learn through discovery and real-life problem solving. I am excited to be a part of the Avalon International School Team.
My name is Sean, and I provide communication skills to willing participants in my English class. Teaching is best summed up as sharing through stories and examples. Through compassion all things can be taught.
I am very happy to be part of this Team. It is great to work with such happy, kind and clever people. The love of the children, their affections and their eagerness to learn makes me a better person every day.
According to my education and experience I know that everyone is talented that makes them unique and wise. My aim is to find that talent in everyone and improve it with a great mixture of teaching methods. In AIS everyone is working for that common aim as a great supportive team.
My name is Miss Gina and I am originally from Ireland. I have been teaching for over 20 years and have taught in International schools in Italy, Turkey, Romania and Spain. I love teaching in early years and teaching English to young children as I find it fun and rewarding.
My name is Beáta Boholy. I work in the Nursery. I think Avalon International School is a great opportunity to grow. I love teaching young kids in this amazing environment. The children get great attention as we work in small groups.
I love working at Avalon International School because it is really one big family. The community is fantastic, all the parents and teachers keep daily contact, we help each other and work together, so our children can have the best education and best supportive team in every situation. I enjoy being part of this open minded, caring and hardworking team. It takes teaching to a different level when you work in a school like this.
The children call me Miss Helen. I love to work with children in a pleasant atmosphere like this. I can see the children’s rapid development day by day and week by week. I cannot compare AIS to any other nursery – and I have all the needs from the helpful management.
Not to mention that nice, modern building, the beautiful landscape and the professionally build safe playground for the kids.
